THE PARISIAN FLAGSHIP

In 2013, BONASTRE opens the doors to its flagship store situated in le Haut-Marais, Paris 3, n°10 rue du Perche, a 17th century building with a façade of plaster colonnades and traditional wooden front. The historical Haut-Marais district is the epicenter of sophisticated urban Parisian fashion with its internationally renowned designers. It is also the epicenter of culture with its Hôtels Particuliers inhabiting the most illustrious museums such as Picasso or la maison Victor Hugo, and its famous international contemporary art galleries.

The interior concept is full of contrasts. Galvanized steel grids used in the building industry were turned into decorative elements to build an interior structure like the image of a casket, a jewellery box. These steel grids double the beamed ceilings, the ashlar walls and the original showcases : from tradition to modernity. In the same way the materials oppose each other: the visual lightness to the thousand transparencies of the grids and the powerful velvety softness of the counter’s solid wood and its "Marbella" stools from the brutalist Spain of the 1950’s. The designs, with refined manufacture, are exposed on modular elements also in steel grids. The leather itself, a noble and living material, contrasts with the harshness of the metal. To wrap it all up : a luminous art gallery atmosphere, neon lights, especially a neon star -signature of the brand- illuminate the designs with a note of alternative music.

The BONASTRE team is proud to offer its customers a unique experience.
